WAG Dog Training Club runs from 6.00pm and classes range from puppy level through to advanced obedience for those interested in competitions. These sessions are run with Wendy our behaviour specialist.
There are many reasons for training your dog. You have taken on the responsibility for another life and you want to enjoy your dog's companionship for its entire life. In order to do this you must be able to live together in harmony. You want your dog to be able to get along with friends and relatives. Obedience training will allow you to do this. Training will also strengthen the human-canine bond.
The training we provide adheres to The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme which was established to promote socially acceptable dogs and to teach owners how to train their dogs. After all, dogs are not born with the fountain of all knowledge. Just like humans dogs need to be educated so that they can live in harmony with society. The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme is the largest dog training scheme in the UK. Its aim is to promote responsible dog ownership and in turn, enhance our relationship with our pets and to make the community aware of the benefits associated with dog ownership.
See the classes page for further information on individual awards.
WAG Dog Training now provides a Microchipping Service.
